Radio TechCon is back! This November in London.

Radio TechCon, the UK radio and audio industry’s technical and engineering conference, will take place on Monday 27th November 2017 at IET London, Savoy Place.

Radio TechCon is aimed at broadcast engineers, technologists and anybody with an interest in radio, audio, technology and engineering – including programme-makers and managers. It takes a deep dive into the technical challenges and opportunities facing the radio and audio industry, as well as celebrating technical achievements and remaining as accessible as possible to all.

The one-day conference will feature a mixture of speakers from across audio and technical disciplines as well as mini ‘how-to’ masterclasses and case studies from real-life projects.

Aradhna Tayal, from event organisers TBC Media, says, “Engineering and technology is vital to the existence and growth of radio and audio broadcasting. It is important for the technical community to have the opportunity to come together at Radio TechCon to share, discuss and learn; and to connect with colleagues from more editorial backgrounds to collaborate and innovate together.”

“We are especially delighted to have the continued support of the IET and are proud be hosted, for the first time, at their iconic Savoy Place building.”

Phoebe Houssein, Community Manager of the IET’s Multimedia Communications Network says, “Driving the radio and audio technical industry relies on people being able to share best practice, good news and knowledge. Radio TechCon embodies this objective and the IET’s Multimedia Communications Network is thrilled to be supporting the event for another year.”

Tickets for Radio TechCon will be released shortly. There will be a discount for members of the IET as well as other industry organisations including The Radio Academy. To sign up for ticket alerts and updates, please fill in the form below.
